the other day i made a topic in the profiles & graphics discussion forums. yesterday i edited the post to update some information, and it worked fine. after doing so, though, i realized i wanted to make a couple more changes to the post, and tried to edit it again. this time, when i tried to submit the edit, the button didn't do anything. i clicked a few times, but the edit wouldn't save. i tried waiting in case it was on a delay, but nothing happened. i reloaded the page and tried again, still nothing. closed the page, navigated back to the topic, tried again, still nothing.

so for some reason, after that first edit, the "edit post" button no longer works. neither does the preview button, btw, but that's been the case for a while i think. the "cancel editing" button works just fine.

[edit] answer: yes. and a third and fourth. this post seems unaffected. so what is it about the post i'm having trouble with that makes it not want to save the edit? it's not too long and i'm only trying to delete a couple lines of text. it's this one btw:

Honestly I'm guessing it has something to do with the angle brackets ("<" or ">") in the post because they tend to.. break things.

[edit] test1 to [edit] Maybe thats not it since it still seems to let me edit. Maybe its because your post is the OP? Subeta works in strange ways sometimes XD

i thought maybe the code had something to do with it, but it's odd that it let me edit it the first time and then never again. it is a mystery for now -_-
